Veterinary Dental Forum

The 38th Annual Veterinary Dental Forum was in Palm Springs, California from September 25-28, 2024. This is an annual conference that brings together board certified Veterinary DentistsTM, Veterinary Technician Specialists in the field of Dentistry, as well as veterinarians, veterinary technicians and students from all over the world to discuss all matters of dental and oral health in animals.

Dr. Redman, Dr. Siddall, Dr. McGuirk, Meghan and Rachel K. were all in attendance this year. Dr. Redman presented on the treatment of feline chronic gingivostomatitis, Drs. Siddall and McGuirk participated in wet labs to further their training and expertise in specialized procedures, and all of the staff attended numerous lectures on a broad range of topics including antibiotic stewardship, oral cancers, treatment of maxillofacial trauma, and endodontic therapy.

The Veterinary Dental Forum is an important time for our staff to stay connected to our colleagues elsewhere in the country and stay up to date with the latest research and techniques in oral medicine and surgery. With multiple lecture tracts for advanced, intermediate and beginner topics, it is also a wonderful opportunity for general practitioners to expand their knowledge of dentistry and oral medicine.

This is an annual conference that moves to a different city every year:

Next year, the 39th Annual Veterinary Dental Forum will be held at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas from September 24-27, 2025. The 40th Annual conference will be held at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida from October 7-10, 2026.
